The 2-speed C Line Urban is Brompton’s lightest steel bike. The simple set-up is ideal for flatter cities or strong legs in hilly places.

Frameset

• Frame: Precision drawn heat-treated steel tubing with hand brazing and selected auto-brazed joints.
• Rear Frame: Hand brazed cold-formed micro-alloy steel tubing
• Fork: Steel brazed fork

• Front Wheel: Double-wall rim, 28 spokes laced to a Brompton front hub.
• Rear Wheel: Double wall rim, 28 spokes laced to a 2 speed rear hub with 12 and 16 tooth sprockets.

Drivetrain

• Pedals: Brompton Folding left hand and non-folding right-hand pedals
• Crank: (6061) forged aluminium crank with 54T chainring and integrated chainguard
• Chain Pusher: 2 speed chain pusher
• Chain Tensioner: Designed to deal with the large variations in chain whilst being folded and unfolded.
• Shifter: 2 trigger shifter
• Bottom Bracket: Square taper bottom bracket

• Handlebar: triple butted (6061) aluminium with shot-peened finish
• Grips: Lock-on grips with soft-compound rubber adhered to an engineered core
• Headset: Brompton headset
• Brakes: Brompton Dual Pivot Calipers
• Brake Levers: Brompton levers
• Saddle: Brompton saddle with integrated carry handle (147mm). Incorporates a mount for a Brompton rear light and saddle bag.

• Seatpost: Chromoly steel tube, centreless ground, chrome plated for hardness, delivered in a standard length, suitable for maximum inside leg 33 inches / 84 cm
