adidas' Pro Shin Pads wrap a hard outer shell around a thick foam-padded lining that sits close to the leg. Ergonomic contouring follows the shape of the shin without adding bulk, while ventilation slots moulded into the shell keep air moving across the skin. Elastic strapping holds them steady whether worn under or over socks.
Product Highlights
- Heavy-duty outer shell absorbs impact and resists abrasion through repeated wear
- Ventilation slots channel airflow to keep legs cooler during extended play
- Thick foam-padded inner lining cushions the leg and helps prevent pressure points
- Moisture-wicking lining keeps legs drier and reduces rubbing over long spells
- Snug elastic strapping stops slippage through quick changes of direction
Best For
- Field hockey defenders regularly blocking shots and stepping into tackles
- Midweek training sessions where pads stay on from warm-up to final whistle
- Players who like to wear their pads tucked under socks rather than over them
