Clarks' FeatherSkip Kids Trainer cuts a low-top shape from a synthetic upper, fastened by a single hook-and-loop strap sitting over elasticated faux laces. Reinforcement across the toe and heel holds the shape through repeated wear, while a flexible rubber sole keeps the tread light underfoot.
