From adidas' Adizero line, the Adizero SL 2 Shoes cut a low-top running shape around a dual-foam Lightstrike midsole. Breathable mesh covers the upper above a lace-up fastening, and a cushioned insole sits over a rubber outsole. A 36 mm heel stack keeps protection underfoot.
Product Highlights
- Full-length Lightstrike Pro core encased in Lightstrike 2.0, rebounding quickly for a softer ride than version 1
- Forefoot traction lab-rated at 0.69 against a category average of 0.52, holding grip on road surfaces
- Ventilation scored 5 out of 5 in testing, against a category average of 3.6, so feet stay cooler on longer efforts
- Weighing 8.3 oz to 8.6 oz, under the 9.2 oz daily-trainer average, with minimal outsole wear recorded in testing
