On technical terrain, the Altra Lone Peak 9+ keeps the foot level on a 25mm zero-drop platform. A ripstop upper with fine-pored mesh lining holds its shape and drains quickly, while the foot-shaped toe box leaves room for the toes to splay. Moderate cushioning and an internal heel counter support the rearfoot.
