The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDG is a 34 inch ultra wide QD OLED gaming monitor with a 175 Hz refresh rate. It includes the Neo Proximity Sensor as part of the ASUS OLED Care Pro suite. When no user is detected, the monitor switches to a black screen to help reduce the chance of burn in.

ASUS OLED Care Pro The OLED Care Pro suite includes customizable protection features designed to increase panel lifespan. This includes the Neo Proximity Sensor, pixel cleaning, screen movement, and boundary detection. All settings can be controlled through DisplayWidget Centre.

Neo Proximity Sensor The Neo Proximity Sensor detects your distance from the monitor. When you step away, the screen turns black to help prevent burn in. When you return, the image is restored. The detection distance can be adjusted. Please make sure the sensor is positioned correctly and cleaned with the included microfiber cloth before enabling the feature.

Pixel Cleaning Pixel cleaning recalibrates the panel after several hours of use. This process activates automatically when the monitor is turned off. Do not unplug the monitor during pixel cleaning.

Screen Move The monitor shifts pixel positions slightly at intervals to reduce the risk of burn in. Several movement levels can be selected.

Boundary Detection The monitor detects the edges of black bars and reduces brightness around those areas. It also adjusts nearby pixels to help protect the panel.

Worry Free OLED Monitor ROG OLED monitors feature a custom heatsink and efficient internal airflow design to help keep temperatures low and reduce the risk of burn in.

DisplayWidget Centre DisplayWidget Centre allows you to adjust monitor settings with a mouse instead of using the on screen menu. It also provides firmware update notifications and supports saving or loading display profiles.

Uniform Brightness Uniform Brightness mode lowers peak brightness to maintain consistent overall brightness. This improves viewing comfort during long sessions or when changing the size of bright windows.

Virtual Screen The ASUS Virtual Screen feature allows the system to recognise one monitor as two independent displays. You can create a virtual display in formats such as one to one, two to one, or one to two. This lets you open two windows from a single source at the same time. You can view gameplay or video in a fixed sixteen by nine window without black bars while using another window for chat or streaming applications.
