Built around a full-length convex carbon fibre plate, the Hoka Skyward X 2 uses a dual-density foam midsole beneath an engineered jacquard mesh upper. Very high cushioning creates a springy sink-and-pop feel underfoot, while the wide base keeps the ride settled at pace. Roughly 1 oz lighter and 2mm lower than the first version, it has a narrow, low-volume toe box.
