New Balance's SuperComp Rebel v1 stacks full-length Infinion foam over a carbon propulsion plate beneath an engineered mesh upper. A 40 mm heel stack and 36 mm forefoot give a 4 mm drop, keeping high cushioning close to the road. At 174 g in a women's size 7, it stays light for a plated, heavily cushioned shoe.
