Want cushioning that still snaps back when you pick up the pace? The Nike Pegasus Plus 2 runs a full length ZoomX midsole under an exposed forefoot Air Zoom unit, with a single layer engineered mesh upper and a midfoot containment band holding your foot steady. There's a wider, higher volume toe box here too, sat on a 10 mm heel drop.
Product Highlights
- Full length ZoomX midsole softens heel landings and stays resilient through the stride
- Tensile fibres inside the pressurised Air Zoom unit compress and spring back for a snappy toe-off
- Flex groove rubber outsole guides each stride into fluid heel to toe transitions
- Mesh lining keeps air moving inside the shoe on longer efforts
- Reflective detailing lifts your visibility in low light
Best For
- Daily high mileage training on tarmac and pavement
- Mixed pace days that pair easy miles with threshold reps
- Runners who've found Nike trainers too tapered in the forefoot
- Early morning and after work runs when the light has gone
