Description
Product code: 211451
Rooted in Puma's road-running geometry, the Velocity Trail carries a NITRO FOAM midsole and an 8mm drop (36mm heel, 28mm forefoot) onto off-road terrain. An engineered mesh upper sits over mesh lining, reinforced through the forefoot against trail debris. The snug midfoot and full-rubber outsole provide neutral, moderate cushioning.
Product Highlights
- NITRO FOAM midsole tuned for impact protection rather than ground feel
- PUMAGRIP outsole with 3mm lugs provides secure traction on rock, slab, gravel, and wet ground
- Toe bumper shields the front of the shoe from rocks and roots
- Breathable engineered mesh upper keeps air moving through sustained effort
- Reflective heel strip for visibility when the light drops
Best For
- Road runners taking first outings onto packed dirt and gravel paths
- Door-to-trail routes where tarmac gives way to off-road sections mid-run
- Dawn and dusk training loops on unlit paths
- Fast hiking and long days out on rugged mixed terrain
- Runners who prefer a snug midfoot hold (standard width only)
